    Sammanfattning : High entropy alloys (HEAs) are a new class of alloys that contains five or more principal elements in equiatomic or near-equiatomic proportional ratio. The configuration entropy in the HEAs tends to stabilize the solid solution formation, such as body-centered-cubic (BCC), face-centered-cubic (FCC) and/or hexagonal-closed-pack (HCP) solid solution.     Sammanfattning : The bainite transformation rate has been shown to increase by starting the heat treatment with partial martensite transformation after austenitization. Based on this fact, a process very similar to “Quenching and Partitioning” (Q&P) is used to produce a fine-grained complex microstructure of martensite, bainite and retained austenite with outstanding mechanical properties in a very short time.     Sammanfattning : Composites of 3 mol% yttria-doped tetragonal zirconia (3Y-TZP) reinforced with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) up to 2 wt% have been produced using spark plasma sintering (SPS). The theoretical densities of the studied composites were found to be between 99.4 and 97.4 %. LÄS MER
