    Sammanfattning : Alveolar fluid clearance is driven by active absorption of Na+ across the alveolar epithelium. Development and hormonal regulation of alveolar fluid clearance over 1 hour was studied by instillation of a protein-containing, isosmolar fluid into lungs of fetal, newborn, and adult guinea pigs.     Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the microvascular inflammatory response in the skin. The microvascular response includes vasodilatation and plasma exudation.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to describe the metabolism and to develope methods for biological monitoring for two organic acid anhydrides (OAAs), namely hexahydrophthalic anhydride (HHPA) and methylhexa-hydrophthalic anhydride (MHHPA). The OAAs are reactive, low molecular weight chemicals used in vast quantities in the industry. LÄS MER
