    Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines the motif of the popular Viking in contemporary Anglophone fantasy literature, with a focus on masculinity, power, embodiment,and sexuality. The study draws on queer-theoretical perspectives on masculinity and the method of queer reading, and approaches the Viking as at once bound up with the legitimization of normative and hegemonic forms of masculinity and open to (queer) negotiations and possibilities beyond normative male masculinities.     Sammanfattning : Cobalt is a strong sensitizer and can cause contact allergy upon both direct contact or from airborne exposure on the skin. In the skin, keratinocytes are the first cells to come in contact with the metal and will react and respond to the danger by triggering an alarm system resulting in an inflammatory response in the skin.     Sammanfattning : The present-day Venusian atmosphere is crushingly dense, extremely hot and arid. Yet, in its early history, Venus presumably had a massive amount of water, which, if spread evenly over the surface, provided a water depth of 10s to 100s of meters.
