  1. 1. Healthcare personnel's working conditions relationship to risk behaviours for organism transmission

    Författare :Lisa Arvidsson; Bernice Skytt; Magnus Lindberg; Maria Lindberg; Mirjam Ekstedt; Högskolan i Gävle; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Working conditions; healthcare personnel; registered nurses; assistant nurses; risk behaviours; organism transmission; infection prevention; self-efficacy; mixed-methods.; Health-Promoting Work; Hälsofrämjande arbete;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Healthcare personnel (HCP) often experience undesirable working conditions. Risk behaviours for organism transmission can lead to healthcare associated infections and risk behaviours has been described to be influenced by working conditions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Computer simulations of electronic energy transfer and a molecular dynamics study of a decapeptide

    Författare :Maria Lindberg; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Electronic energy transfer; Monte Carlo simulations; two-particle model; GAF-theory; anisotropic systems; fluorescence depolarization ratios; Brownian Dynamics; rotating donors; Molecular Dynamics; peptide; renin inhibitor;

    Sammanfattning : Electronic energy transfer has been investigated in pure donor systems by means of computer simulations. Calculated properties were the probability that the initially excited donor is excited at a time t after the excitation, Gs(t), the mean square displacement of the excitation and different fluorescence observables. 3. 3. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) an Unclear and Untoward Issue : Patient-Professional Interactions, Experiences, Attitudes and Responsibility

    Författare :Maria Lindberg; Marianne Carlsson; Bernice Skytt; Marieann Högman; Ann Gardulf; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Attitudes of health personnel; colonization; hygiene; infection control; mixed-methods approach; MRSA; nursing care; patient-professional interaction; quality of healthcare; responsibility; The MDRB Attitude Questionnaire;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the present thesis was to investigate experiences of living with multidrug-resistant bacteria (MDRB), using methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) colonization as an illustration, and to develop and validate a tool to describe healthcare personnel’s attitudes towards patients with MDRB. A further objective was to study MRSA-colonized persons’ and healthcare personnel’s experiences of patient-professional interactions and responsibilities for infection prevention. LÄS MER

    Författare :Maria Johansson; Malin Lindberg; Ulrika Haake; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Feminist action research; Forestry; Gender; Gender equality; Organization; Male dominated industries; Genus och teknik; Gender and Technology; Industriell design; Industrial Design;

    Sammanfattning : The title of this thesis is Business as usual? Doing gender equality in Swedish forestry work organizations and while the latter part, the subtitle, is rather self-explanatory, the former part can be read in different ways. The aim of the thesis is to increase the understanding of the doing of gender equality in the male dominated work organizations of the Swedish forestry sector, and thereby contribute both theoretical and empirical understanding regarding how doing gender equality in the forestry sector relates both to notions of gender and notions of organizations.
