21. On integrity assessment of IGBT-based power stacks used in magnet power supplies for particle accelerators
Sammanfattning : This thesis analyses an electrical testing method for assessing the integrity of an IGBT-based power stack assembly during factory acceptance tests and service stops. The method combines vce measurements with high current in the Zero Temperature Coefficient (ZTC) operating region and with low sensing current within a specific current cycle using a proposed sampling and filtering technique. 22. Sales and operations planning based on a modularized view of supply chains : Supporting process industries and discrete manufacturing industries
Sammanfattning : The purpose of this dissertation is to propose a framework for sales and operations planning (S&OP), which is based on a modularized view of supply chains. The framework should support both process industries and discrete manufacturing industries in their quest for performance. LÄS MER
23. The Multiple Faces of Interfaces : Electron microscopy analysis of CuInSe2 thin-film solar cells
Sammanfattning : The CIS solar cell family features both a high stability and world-class performances. They can be deposited on a wide variety of substrates and absorb the entire solar spectrum only using a thickness of a few micrometers. LÄS MER
24. Metallic materials in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells: Oxidation and chromium evaporation properties
Sammanfattning : Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are high-temperature energy conversion devices which have great potential due to their high efficiency, low operating costs and flexibility in using conventional hydrocarbon based fuels. However, system cost, durability and performance stability in long-term operation are barriers to the widespread commercialization of SOFC technology. LÄS MER
25. Aerodynamic design framework for low-pressure compression systems
Sammanfattning : Aircraft engine manufacturers strive to improve current state of the art designs through continuous development efforts. By improving existing designs and exploring new alternatives, the goal is to reduce the fuel consumption - a topic of high relevance due to the remarkable growth rate of air traffc. LÄS MER
