  1. 1. Scaling of InGaAs/InAlAs and InAs/AlSb HEMTs for microwave/mm-wave applications

    Författare :Malin Borg; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; metamorphic; InGaAs; gate length; pseudomorphic; InAs; AlSb; InP; Schottky layer; High electron mobility transistor HEMT ; drain bias;

    Sammanfattning : The InGaAs/InAlAs high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) offers the highest maximum frequency of oscillation fmax and the lowest noise performance (NFmin) for microwave/mm-wave receivers. Similar to other device technologies, the performance of the InGaAs/InAlAs HEMT has gradually been improved by device scaling. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Implementing video conferencing in discharge planning sessions : leadership and organizational culture when designing IT support for everyday work in nursing practice

    Författare :Malin Hofflander; Sara Eriksén; Christel Borg; Isabella Scandurra; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis has been to study the implementation process concerning the use of video conferencing in discharge planning, during and after a development project in a region in southeast Sweden. The research approach has been developed within a new interdisciplinary research area, Applied Health Technology. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Physician Sickness Certification Practice focusing on views and barriers among general practitioners and orthopaedic surgeons

    Författare :Malin Swartling; Rolf Wahlström; Jörgen Borg; Kurt Svärdsudd; Bengt Mattsson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Neurosciences; sick-listing; sickness certification; physician; general practitioner; orthopaedic surgeon; practice-pattern; barriers; phenomenography; Sweden; Neurovetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : There is no common understanding on what constitutes good sick-listing, a frequent and problematic task for many physicians, especially general practitioners (GPs) and orthopaedic surgeons. Aiming to achieve a deeper understanding of sick-listing practices, 19 GPs (I, III) and 18 orthopaedic surgeons (II) in four counties were interviewed, and data analysed qualitatively for views on good sickness certification and barriers to desired practice.
