1. Designing Routines for Industrial Digitalization
Sammanfattning : Industrial digitalization and its promises propel manufacturing firms to pursue digital reality. When changing ways of working, organizational actors often introduce digital artifacts to create a preferred situation where digital technology creates and shapes physical reality. LÄS MER
2. Aircraft Systems Modeling : Model Based Systems Engineering in Avionics Design and Aircraft Simulation
Sammanfattning : Aircraft developers like other development and manufacturing companies, are experiencing increasing complexity in their products and growing competition in the global market. One way to confront the challenges is to make the development process more efficient and to shorten time to market for new products/variants by using design and development methods based on models. 3. The role of fibroblast growth factor-23 in chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder
Sammanfattning : Fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF23) was initially identified as the causative factor of autosomal dominant hypophosphatemic rickets. Further studies confirmed that FGF23 is predominantly expressed in the osteocytes and osteoblasts of bone and that circulating FGF23 acts on the kidney to inhibit renal phosphate reabsorption and 1,25(OH)2D3 hydroxylation. 4. Causes and consequences of temporomandibular joint diseases
Sammanfattning : Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD), a subgroup of Temporomandibular disorders (TMD), has a multifactorial etiology with still largely unknown pathophysiology. Although many risk factors have been proposed, few population-based studies have been conducted. LÄS MER
5. Determining the effects of regulatory parameters on the structural dynamics of P-type ATPase membrane transporters
Sammanfattning : Proteins are macromolecular machines with roles in all cellular activities and structures. The functional properties of each protein is the result of its combination of 3D-structure and inherent dynamics, and a wealth of structural and dynamic mechanisms have evolved to regulate protein activity.
