    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Long-term tracheostomy; Respiratory failure; Hospital care; Tracheostomy care; Decontamination; Trachestomy tube; Material degradation; Polymeric material; Health-related quality of life; Nursing; Omvårdnad; Long-term tracheostomy; respiratory failure; hospital care; tracheostomy care; decontamination; tracheostomy tube; material degradation; polymeric material; and health-related quality of life;

    Sammanfattning : Do people with long-term tracheostomy need hospital care? Which cleaning method is most appropriate for decontamination of inner cannulae? Are tracheostomy tubes changed for rational reasons? There is clearly a lack of evidence based research in this field and the clinical guidelines available are often based on local practice. A tracheostomy is a created opening in trachea to facilitate breathing. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Supporting long-term production development : Towards production platforms

    Sammanfattning : With shrinking product life cycles and increasing competitive pressure, the traditional way of developing production systems is becoming obsolete. A longer-term perspective that considers the stream of product realisation projects to be implemented in the production system over its lifetime is required. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Long-term changes in macroalgal vegetation on the Swedish coast : An evaluation of eutrophication effects with special emphasis on increased organic sedimentation

    Författare :Britas Klemens Eriksson; Francisco Xavier Niell Castanera; Uppsala universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis I examine and evaluate the effects of a documented large-scale eutrophication on macroalgal vegetation on the Swedish coast. During the past century the load of nutrients has increased manifold in the Baltic Sea area, increasing primary production and organic sedimentation significantly. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Traumatic isolated rupture of the knee medial collateral ligament : diagnosis and long term effects

    Författare :Magnus Lundberg; Per Renström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : Isolated partial rupture of the knee medial collateral ligament (MCL) is the most common traumatic knee ligament injury. Owing to the good short- and medium-term functional results after conservative treatment, this injury has been regarded as harmless. LÄS MER
