    Sammanfattning : This thesis has two points of departure and four main purposes. The first point of departure concerns the narrow perspective of the listening skill in Swedish. The first purpose is to show the lack of attention to the listening skill in research and mother tongue education in the Swedish compulsory school. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Hearing loss has a negative effect on the daily life of 10-15% of the world’s population. One of the most common ways to treat a hearing loss is to fit hearing aids which increases audibility by providing amplification. Hearing aids thus improve speech reception in quiet, but listening in noise is nevertheless often difficult and stressful. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines how digital music archives can facilitate different versions of the history of recorded music. It argues that digital technologies and metadata enable coexisting historical narratives of recorded music that move across time and musical genre, and that can cross geographical and cultural space.
