    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis is to generate  understanding and knowledge a bout the experiences of  patients living with haemodialysis, and their close relati ves, near the end of life. In studies I and II we  conducted a series of 31 qualitative interviews over a period of 12 months with 8 severely ill patients  (aged 66–87) treated with haemodialysis. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns the mediation of history in a public arena in society, namely in historical exhibitions in museums. The foci of the thesis are exhibitions on migration history, cultural encounters, “Us” and “the Others”, and in particular how relations based on the principles of class, gender and ethnicity are mediated.     Sammanfattning : During the nineteenth century, competition over forestland and waterways grew in Northern Sweden. This increased the pressure on existing institutions of natural resource governance. It culminated with a ban on private acquisition of woodland from smallholders in 1906. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Syfte: Avhandlingens övergripande syfte var att utforska sorgereaktioner hos närstående till personer som avlidit till följd av plötsligt hjärtstopp. De specifika syftena var att: belysa innebörder av levda erfarenheter av att förlora en nära person som avlidit till följd av plötsligt hjärtstopp (I), beskriva symtom på förlängd sorg och självskattad hälsa hos närstående, samt att jämföra partners och icke-partners (II), undersöka samband mellan symtom på förlängd sorg och psykisk ohälsa samt identifiera associerade faktorer (III), undersöka sorgereaktioner i relation till socialt och professionellt stöd, sex och tolv månader efter förlusten (IV).
