11. Tillsyn i teori och praktik : om statlig styrning och kontroll av socialtjänstens individ- och familjeomsorg
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to deepen the understanding about the function of control in the inspection process and to increase the knowledge about the legitimacy and impact from inspection on different types of social and welfare services. In the thesis the form and legitimacy of the inspection process are studied in two types of social services in Sweden: a less complex service where the task to investigate and make decisions about social care dominates (IAD), and a more complex service where the task to provide treatment interventions dominates (TI). 12. Negotiating normality and deviation : father's violence against mother from children's perspectives
Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to contribute to understanding of how children try to understand and interpret their own father and his (possibly) violent actions against their mother in relation to their general conceptualizations concerning fathers and violence. A general social psychological and interactionist approach is related to the children’s selves as the organizing and experiencing structures, the family as the arena for experiences and communicative interaction, and society as a structure of norms and general ideas. Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the issue of standardization in social work. Standardization is a necessary and fascinating, though underestimated, phenomenon, which governs, regulates and calibrates social life. According to its theory of use EBP will bring a difference for policy makers, for professionals, for researchers and for service users. 15. Kvinnors kunskapssyn och lärandestrategier? : En studie av tjugosju kvinnliga socionomstuderande
Sammanfattning : Denna studie undersöker inledningsvis socionomutbildningen ur ett historiskt könsperspektiv; en yrkesförberedande utbildning som genom inträdet i universitetets organisation och strukturer och genom utvecklingen av det akademiska ämnet 'socialt arbete' successivt akademiserats på de traditionella villkor som format akademin genom århundraden, villkor som utvecklats av män för mäns bildning, samtidigt som de socionomstuderande kvinnorna utgör 82% av undervisningsgrupperna. Forskningen i socialt arbete har maskuliniserats genom att professorer och forskare i huvudsak är män. LÄS MER
