  1. 1. Semi-automatic Ontology Construction based on Patterns

    Författare :Eva Blomqvist; Kurt Sandkuhl; Henrik Eriksson; Ralf-D Kutsche; Enrico Motta; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to improve the ontology engineering process, by providing better semiautomatic support for constructing ontologies and introducing knowledge reuse through ontology patterns. The thesis introduces a typology of patterns, a general framework of pattern-based semi-automatic ontology construction called OntoCase, and provides a set of methods to solve some specific tasks within this framework. 2. 2. The Evolution of the Connector View Concept : Enterprise Models for Interoperability Solutions in the Extended Enterprise

    Författare :Anders Carstensen; Kurt Sandkuhl; Sture Hägglund; Ulf Seigerroth; Eva Söderström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Enterprise Modelling; Extended Enterprise; Interoperability; Design Science;

    Sammanfattning : People around the world who are working in companies and organisations need to collaborate, and in their collaboration use information managed by different information systems. The requirements of information systems to be interoperable are therefore apparant. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Towards an Ontology Design Pattern Quality Model

    Författare :Karl Hammar; Kurt Sandkuhl; Henrik Eriksson; Vladimir Tarasov; Eva Blomqvist; Arianit Kurti; Jönköping University; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Ontology; OWL; Ontology Design Pattern; Semantic Web; Quality Model;

    Sammanfattning : The use of semantic technologies and Semantic Web ontologies in particular have enabled many recent developments in information integration, search engines, and reasoning over formalised knowledge. Ontology Design Patterns have been proposed to be useful in simplifying the development of Semantic Web ontologies by codifying and reusing modelling best practices. LÄS MER

  4. 4. On a Need to Know Basis : A Conceptual and Methodological Framework for Modelling and Analysis of Information Demand in an Enterprise Context

    Författare :Magnus Jandinger; Kurt Sandkuhl; Ulf Seigerroth; Sture Hägglund; Eva Söderström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : While the amount of information, readily available to workers in information- and knowledge intensive business- and industrial contexts, only seem to increase with every day, those workers continue to have difficulties in finding and managing relevant and needed information despite the numerous technical, organisational, and practical approaches promising a remedy to the situation. In this dissertation it is claimed that the main reason for the shortcomings of such approaches are a lack of understanding of the underlying information demand people and organisations have in relation to performing work tasks. 5. 5. Integration of Product-IT into Enterprise Architecture : a metod for participatory Business and IT Alignment

    Författare :Julia Kaidalova; Ulf Seigerroth; Anne Persson; Kurt Sandkuhl; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Enterprise Architecture; Participatory Enterprise Modeling; Digital Transformation; Business and IT Alignment; Product-IT; Enterprise-IT; Information Systems; Informationssystem IS ;

    Sammanfattning : Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a practice for planning, representation and design of IT components and resources (Enterprise-IT) in an organization. In the context of digital transformation (DT), companies are exposed to various sorts of opportu-nities, both technological and business. LÄS MER
