    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on the interactions among microbiota in clearwater lakes. Field sampling and field experiments were performed to evaluate interactions among microbiota and the importance of benthic versus pelagic microbiota in terms of biomass and production.     Sammanfattning : The cholesterol-lowering effect of oats is well established, but the crucial properties eliciting this effect need to be further investigated to optimize the use of oats as functional foods.     Sammanfattning : Lipid oxidation in cream powder and rapeseed oil was studied at different oxygen concentrations in the presence or absence of the catalytic factors light and copper. The oxygen concentrations in the headspace of the product ranged from 21 % down to 0.03 %, but particular emphasis was laid on oxygen concentrations below 2 %. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Lärares genusmedvetenhet i relation till naturvetenskaplig verksamhet är fokus för denna avhandling, som belyses genom två studier: en longitudinell aktionsforskningsstudie som genomfördes tillsammans med en grupp förskollärare/lärare och en studie där verksamma förskollärare/lärare under en fortbildningskurs fick tillämpa en genusteori på en verklig klassrumshändelse. Studierna visar att genusarbete är komplicerat eftersom det inbegriper många aspekter av livet och en viktig del av genusmedvetenheten är att förhålla sig till dessa olika aspekter. LÄS MER
