  1. 21. Volume kinetic development and application

    Författare :Dan Drobin; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Fluid therapy is a cornerstone in shock resuscitation in a such as treatment of anesthesia induce down regulation of the circulation and also restores many different types of dehydrated states. Current guidelines for fluid therapy are, however, based on experience, rules of thumb and effect-related end points, such as restoration of physiological parameters, which do not directly represent the volume effect of the fluid.     Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; kinetics; DNA; poly d T ; guanine; 6-thioinosine-5 -monophosphate; 6-thio-2 -deoxyinosine; 4-thiouridine-5 -monophosphate; 4-thio-2 -deoxyuridine; palladium II ; Gold III ; platinum II ; mechanism; salt effect; activation parameters; Inorganic chemistry; Oorganisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Reactions of trans-dicyanodichloroaurate(III) trans-dibromodicyanoaurate(III), trans-diamminedichlorogold(III), cis-diammine(aqua)chloroplatinum(II), cis-ammineaqua-(cyclohexylamine)chloroplatinum(II), chloro(terpyridine)platinum(II) and chloro-(diethylenetriaminepalldium(II) with dimethyl sulfide, thionucleosides, thionucleotides and thione- and guanine-containing 17-mer oligonucleotides have been investigated by use of conventional and high-pressure stopped-flow spectrophotometry and HPLC technique as a function of ionic strength, pH, temperature and pressure in aqueous solutions. The mechanism and rate of oxidation of dimethyl sulfide by gold(III) complexes depends on the concentration of free halide. LÄS MER

  3. 23. A Catalytic and Mechanistic Investigation of Palladium-Phosphine Catalysed Aqueous Hydroxycarbonylation. Steric and Electronic Properties of the Ligands

    Författare :Adriana Ionescu; Kemiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Oorganisk kemi; Inorganic chemistry; Naturvetenskap; Natural science; Isomerisation of hydroxyalkenes; Mechanism; Regioselectivity; Steric and electronic properties; Hydroxycarbonylation of styrene; Water-soluble phosphines; Palladium; Aqueous catalysis;

    Sammanfattning : The steric and electronic properties of eight water-soluble phosphines (1-8) were investigated by different methods. Phosphines 1-6 were tested as ligands in palladium catalysed hydroxycarbonylation of styrene. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Copper in Chemical-Looping Combustion (CLC) and Chemical-Looping with Oxygen Uncoupling (CLOU)

    Författare :Mehdi Arjmand; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; chemical-looping combustion CLC ; chemical-looping with oxygen uncoupling CLOU ; copper; CO2-capture; kinetic; oxygen carrier;

    Sammanfattning : The chemical-looping combustion (CLC) and chemical-looping with oxygen uncoupling (CLOU) processes are attractive solutions for efficient combustion with inherent separation of carbon dioxide. These processes use a metal oxide as an oxygen carrier to transfer oxygen from an air to a fuel reactor where the fuel, or gasification products of the fuel, reacts with the oxygen carrier. LÄS MER
