  1. 1. Model for change in production systems triggered by environmental requirements : considerations, drivers, key factors

    Författare :Anna Sannö; Mats Deleryd; Mats Winroth; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; change management; environment; sustainable development; Innovation and Design; innovation och design;

    Sammanfattning : Industry is a key player in the transition to a sustainable society where manufacturing companies need to respond to the challenges of environmental concerns in several ways. Still, even if several efforts have been made in practise and academia, more research within operations management is addressed in relation to implementing sustainable solutions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Managing Collaborative Product Development : A Model for Identifying Key Factors in Product Development Projects

    Författare :Sofi Elfving; Mats Jackson; Björn Fagerström; Lars Bengtsson; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :Collaborative product development; Integrated product development; Concurrent engineering; Product development; Product design; Collaboration; Integration; Communication; Key factors; Decision-making; Knowledge transfer; Experience reuse; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; Innovation och design;

    Sammanfattning : The increasing complexity of products and systems today has forced new processes, methods, and tools for managing the development of products. It has also forced the development of complex organisations and diverse relationships among functions and peoples within product development organisations. This implies a need for integrated processes. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Factors that influence choice of travel mode in major urban areas

    Författare :Anna-Lena Lindström Olsson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :mode choice; valuation; traffic reduction; stated preference; factors; park and ride;

    Sammanfattning : Problems associated with traffic, such as traffic congestionand pollution, have occurred in major urban areas in particulardue to the increased use of cars. One possible way to reducethe use of cars is to replace commuter trips by car with othermodes of transport, such as a combination of car and publictransport called Park&Ride. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Delirium after cardiac surgery : risk factors, assessment methods and costs

    Sammanfattning : Background: Cardiac surgery is considered safe, but postoperative delirium (POD) remains frequently reported. Delirium is characterised by fluctuations in consciousness and cognition, and can be subdivided into disturbed psychomotoric activity (hyperactive and hypoactive) and psychiatric symptom profiles (psychotic and emotional). 5. 5. Extreme environments - Design and human factors considerations

    Författare :Olga Bannova; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Extreme environments; Engineering; Engineer; Architect; Design Planning; Architecture; Multidisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Design and Planning; Human Factors;

    Sammanfattning : The starting point of this research is based on my experience at SICSA performing research and design for extreme environments, including orbital and lunar planetary facilities, disaster shelters, polar stations and offshore surface and submersible habitats. This thesis explores what aspects and issues of design and planning processes in extreme environments have to be addressed in a similar way and therefore may be used as a basis for further work toward PhD thesis to develop a methodological planning tool or matrix.
