1. Cost-Effective Industrial Energy Systems : Multiperiod Optimization of Operating Strategies and Structural Choices
Sammanfattning : It is of great importance to encourage the development of cost-effective industrial energy systems as the potential for saving energy and capital in industrial applications often is substantial. The MIND method has been developed for multi-period cost optimization of industrial energy systems. LÄS MER
2. MIND : Optimization method for industrial energy systems
Sammanfattning : The MIND optimization method is a tool for life cycle cost minimization of a flexible range of industrial energy systems. It can be used in analyses of energy systems in response to changes within the system, changes of the boundary conditions and synthesis of energy systems. LÄS MER
3. Teknikens befäl : En etnologisk studie av teknikuppfattning och civilingenjörer : [an ethnological study of the understandings of technology and engineers]
Sammanfattning : The purpose of this Thesis is to analyse technology as a domain for knowledge and cultural experience among Swedish engineers during the 20th century. The aim is to examine how the concept of technology and the engineering profession are related in literature and films as well as in biographies, written by engineers themselves. LÄS MER
4. Quality of Frozen Rainbow Trout. Effects of different freezing and thawing treatments
Sammanfattning : The effects of different freezing, frozen storage and thawing treatments on the muscle tissue of farmed rainbow trout (Oncorhychus mykiss) were studied. Biochemical measurements were correlated to sensory estimated quality changes. The freezing process affects the proteins, the lipid fractions and the membrane structures in the fish muscle. LÄS MER
