  1. 1. Delineating Ligand-Receptor Interactions and the Design of Subtype Selective Galanin Receptor Ligands

    Författare :Johan Runesson; Ülo Langel; Barbara Kofler; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; neurokemi med molekylär neurobiologi; Neurochemistry with Molecular Neurobiology;

    Sammanfattning : We now celebrate that it is 30 years since galanin was first isolated. During these three decades galanin has been identified in numerous tissues and physiological processes, and in an abundant number of species. In the nervous system galanin primarily displays a modulatory role. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Galanin receptor ligands

    Författare :Johan Runesson; Ülo Langel; Lena Mäler; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Galanin; GALP; GPCR; Agonist; GalR; Chimeric peptide; Inositol phosphate production; Receptor specificity; Neurochemistry and Molecular Neurobiology; neurokemi med molekylär neurobiologi;

    Sammanfattning : In the nervous system galanin primarily displays a modulatory role. The galaninergic system consists of a number of bioactive peptides with a highly plastic expression pattern and three different receptors. The lack of receptor subtype selective ligands and antibodies have severely hampered the charac-terization of this system. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Learning history in an enquiry and source-based practice : What do students need to learn in relation to second-order concepts to be able to handle historical sources?

    Författare :Anders Nersäter; Ulla Runesson Kempe; Carl-Johan Svensson; David Rosenlund; Jönköping University; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; history teaching; historical thinking; historical sources; second-order concepts; evidence; historical empathy; causation; variation theory; critical aspects; learning study;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, results from three studies and a reanalysis have been combined to provide knowledge of what students need to learn in relation to the second-order concepts of evidence, historical empathy and causation, for them to be able to handle historical sources and construct accounts. Data has been collected in two intervention studies conducted in collaboration with a group of upper secondary teachers. LÄS MER
