1. Thin Mn silicide and germanide layers studied by photoemission and STM
Sammanfattning : The research presented in this thesis concerns experimental studies of thin manganese silicide and germanide layers, grown by solid phase epitaxy on the Si(111)7×7 and the Ge(111)c(2×8) surfaces, respectively. The atomic and electronic structures, as well as growth modes of the epitaxial Mn-Si and Mn-Ge layers, were investigated by low-energy electron diffraction (LEED), angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES), core-level spectroscopy (CLS), and scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM and STS). 2. Function of granulocytes after burns and trauma, associations with pulmonary vascular permeability, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and immunomodulation
Sammanfattning : Background: Our innate immunesystem protects us from infections but, since its methods is not all specific for microorganisms, may also induce collateral damage.Severe physical injury often proved deadly throughout evolution. Such injuries may induce massive collateral damage. LÄS MER
3. High strain rate deformation of Alloy 718
Sammanfattning : Alloy 718 is a high temperature alloy, used where high temperature strength or oxidation resistance is required. As the alloy is precipitate heat treatable it is possible to have a large variety of strength depending on microstructure. LÄS MER
4. High strain rate deformation of Alloy 718, Influence of Microstructure on Mechanical Properties
Sammanfattning : Alloy 718 is a high temperature alloy, used where high temperature strength or oxidation resistance is required. As the alloy is precipitate heat treatable, it is possible to have a large variety of deformation and mechanical properties depending on microstructure. LÄS MER
5. SAF och den svenska modellen : En studie av uppbrottet från förvaltningskorporatismen 1982-91
Sammanfattning : In 1991 the Swedish Employers' Confederation (SAF) decided to withdraw all its representatives from the governing bodies of public administration. The decision implied the fall of the "Swedish Model" with highly centralized three-party-cooperation between labour, capital and state on labourmarket and working environment policies. LÄS MER
