16. Flexible Circuits and Materials for Creating Large-Area RFID Reader Antenna Systems
Sammanfattning : One of the applications for RFID technology is to monitor and position RFID-tagged objects over large volumes. To achieve this, one possible option is to implement RFID reader antennas, which are relatively thin but with significantly large areas, and place them beneath the RFID-tagged objects. LÄS MER
17. Development of new tools for multiplex genetic analyses
Sammanfattning : Several methods allowing the simultaneous interrogation of multiple qualities of nucleic acid samples have been developed recently. Although diverse in nature, many of these methods have common limitations. LÄS MER
18. Mycket väsen om ingenting : Hur datorn och internet undgår att formas till medborgarens tekniker
Sammanfattning : In what way/ways – if at all – are the computer and the internet tools for individuals’ roles as citizens in the Swedish working class? What is new information and communication technology’s significance – if any – for individuals’ identities as citizens within Swedish working class culture? The empirical results are discouraging for advocates who have put their trust in new information and communication technology as a potential civic tool. For instance, the study reveals that the computer and the internet can only be considered as marginal phenomena in the everyday lives of the Swedish working class, for these tools are barely used, and further, are perceived as difficult to operate. 19. Software Tools for Design of Reagents for Multiplex Genetic Analyses
Sammanfattning : Methods using oligonucleotide probes are powerful tools for the analysis of nucleic acids. During recent years, many such methods have been developed that enable the simultaneous interrogation of multiple qualities of a sample. Many of these multiplexing techniques share common limitations. LÄS MER
20. (In)Consistencies as Cues to Deception
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to examine statement consistency types (between-statement consistency, within-statement consistency, within-group consistency, and statement-evidence consistency) within various contexts of deception. In Study I (N = 150), between-statement consistency was examined when question format was changed across two interviews. LÄS MER
