  1. 11. Design and Security Analysis of TRNGs and PUFs

    Författare :Yang Yu; Elena Dubrova; Zhonghai Lu; Ilia Polian; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Cryptographic primitive; Physical Unclonable Function; True Random Number Generator; Hardware security; Side-channel analysis; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : True Random Number Generators (TRNGs) and Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) are two important types of cryptographic primitives. TRNGs create a hardware-based, non-deterministic noise that is often used for generating keys, initialization vectors, and nonces for various applications that require cryptographic protection. Författare :Olga Viberg; Åke Grönlund; Mats Tegmark; Annika Andersson; Victor Kaptelinin; Högskolan Dalarna; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; online distance education; mobile learning; mobile-assisted language learning; information systems artefact; design science research; learning practices; structuration; self-regulation; technology-in-practice; Complex Systems – Microdata Analysis; Komplexa system - mikrodataanalys; Informatik; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on the adaptation of formal education to people’s technology- use patterns, theirtechnology-in-practice, where the ubiquitous use of mobile technologies is central. The research question is: How can language learning practices occuring in informal learning environments be effectively integrated with formal education through the use of mobile technology? The study investigates the technical, pedagogical, social and cultural challenges involved in a design science approach.     Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Telemedicine; ICT; Time; Space; Science Technology Studies; Technofeminism; Actor-Network Theory;

    Sammanfattning : Sammanfattning: Denna licentiatavhandling är en socioteknisk och spatiotemporal studie av praktiserande av hälso‐ och sjukvård med hjälp av informations‐ och kommunikationsteknik (IKT), eller s k telemedicin. IKT förknippas ofta med möjligheten att överkomma tid och rum och tillåta åtkomst av sådant som finns någon annanstans. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Child-Robot Behavioral Alignment and Creativity Performance

    Författare :Maha Elgarf; Christopher Peters; Tom Ziemke; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, robots have been prevalent in almost all domains. One of the most common applications of social robotics is for education with children. This dissertation addresses the integration of creativity-related education in child-robot interactions. Creativity is a required skill in the 21st century. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Constraint-Based Register Allocation and Instruction Scheduling

    Författare :Roberto Castañeda Lozano; Christian Schulte; Ingo Sander; Mats Carlsson; Laurent Michel; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; constraint programming; combinatorial optimization; register allocation; instruction scheduling; compiler construction; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Register allocation (mapping variables to processor registers or memory) and instruction scheduling (reordering instructions to improve latency or throughput) are central compiler problems. This dissertation proposes a combinatorial optimization approach to these problems that delivers optimal solutions according to a model, captures trade-offs between conflicting decisions, accommodates processor-specific features, and handles different optimization criteria.
