  1. 1. The Four-Quadrant Transducer System : for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    Författare :Erik Nordlund; Chandur Sadarangani; Hans Kahlen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electrical engineering; Electrical Machines; Hybrid Vehicles; Elektroteknik; Electrical engineering; Elektroteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis a hybrid electrical powertrain called the Four Quadrant Transducer (4QT) has been evaluated through different driving simulations, which later resulted in the manufacture of a prototype. The simulation of a 12 metric ton distribution truck showed that the 4QT system can reduce the fuel consumption by approximately 30 % during the FTP75 drive cycle. LÄS MER

  2. 2. On Discharge Strategies for Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    Författare :Viktor Larsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Route Recognition; Energy Management; Dynamic Programming; Hybrid Electric Vehicles; Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles;

    Sammanfattning : During recent years electrification of vehicles has emerged as a promisingtechnology to reduce oil dependency and CO2 emissions within the transportationsector. At the present day several automotive manufacturers areabout to introduce plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to the market, i.e. LÄS MER

  3. 3. On Energy Management Strategies for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    Författare :Lars Johannesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hybrid Electric Vehicle; Energy Management; Vehicle Telematics; Powertrain Control; Stochastic Dynamic Programming; Driver Model; Predictive Control; Hybrid Vehicle;

    Sammanfattning : Hybrid electric vehicles are characterized by the existence of an electric energy buffer in the powertrain. Compared to a conventional vehicle the existence of the buffer means an extra degree of freedom in the powertrain. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Towards sustainable urban transportation : Test, demonstration and development of fuel cell and hybrid-electric buses

    Författare :Anders Folkesson; Per Alvfors; Peter Treffinger; KTH; []

    Sammanfattning : Several aspects make today’s transport system non-sustainable: • Production, transport and combustion of fossil fuels lead to global and local environmental problems. • Oil dependency in the transport sector may lead to economical and political instability. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Gear engagement control for transmissions in hybrid electric vehicles

    Författare :Muddassar Piracha; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Noise and wear minimization; Dog Clutch; Hybrid Powertrain; Optimal control; LQI control; Mechanical Synchronizers; Dedicated Hybrid Transmission; Gear shifting; Drivability; Dual Clutch Transmission; Electric Powertrain; Phase plane analysis;

    Sammanfattning : Hybrid and electric vehicles have become very important for vehicle manufacturers due to stricter legislation, government incentives and customers’ growing awareness of the environmental issues. For conventional vehicles, Dual clutch transmissions (DCT) have better shift quality and efficiency than conventional automatic transmissions. LÄS MER
