Our general goal is to understand how a given meromorphic function f: X -> P^1 can be induced from a composition X --> C -> P^1, where C is a plane curve in  P^2 which is birationally equivalent to the smooth curve X.    Sammanfattning : We present a new approach to perform calculations with the certain standard classes in cohomology of the moduli spaces of curves. It is based on an important lemma of Ionel relating the intersection theoriy of the moduli space of curves and that of the space of admissible coverings. LÄS MER
