  1. 11. GARD - Genomic Allergen Rapid Detection. A Testing Strategy for Assessment of Chemical Sensitizers

    Författare :Henrik Johansson; Institutionen för immunteknologi; []
    Nyckelord :In vitro assay. Sensitization. Predictive genomic biomarker signature.;

    Sammanfattning : The modern world is increasingly dependent of the use of chemicals. The chemical industries have greatly contributed to the high standard of living in industrialised societies, and chemical compounds surround us in everyday life. Unfortunately, a vast number of chemicals cause adverse effects on the environment and human health. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Geometric modelling of form and positional errors of mechanical parts

  3. 13. Performance characterization and evaluation of parallel PDE solvers

    Författare :Henrik Johansson; Jarmo Rantakokko; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Beräkningsvetenskap; Scientific Computing;

    Sammanfattning : Computer simulations that solve partial differential equations (PDEs) are common in many fields of science and engineering. To decrease the execution time of the simulations, the PDEs can be solved on parallel computers. For efficient parallel implementations, the characteristics of both the hardware and the PDE solver must be taken into account. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Autonomic Management of Partitioners for SAMR Grid Hierarchies

    Författare :Henrik Johansson; Jarmo Rantakokko; Michael Thuné; Johan Steensland; Manish Parashar; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Beräkningsvetenskap; Scientific Computing;

    Sammanfattning : Parallel structured adaptive mesh refinement methods decrease the execution time and memory usage of partial differential equation solvers by adaptively assigning computational resources to regions with large solution errors. These methods result in a dynamic grid hierarchy. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Cell-penetrating peptides in protein mimicry and oligonucleotide delivery : Applications and mechanisms

    Författare :Henrik Johansson; Ülo Langel; Michael Gait; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; peptide; oligonucleotide; cell-penetrating peptide; PNA; splicing; Neurochemistry; Neurokemi; Neurochemistry and Molecular Neurobiology; neurokemi med molekylär neurobiologi;

    Sammanfattning : The plasma membrane functions as a barrier, restricting entry of hydrophilic pharmaceutical agents. Cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) are capable of transporting bioactive cargos into the cell and have consequently been extensively investigated for their mechanism of entry and capability to deliver various cargos spanning from peptides to plasmids.
