    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to examine the distribution of health literacy (HL) levels in newly arrived Arabic-, Dari-, or Somali-speaking refugees in Sweden. Further aims were to investigate sociodemographic characteristics associated with inadequate HL in this group, and to investigate whether HL levels are associated with experiences of the health examination for asylum seekers (HEA), health seeking behaviour and health.     Sammanfattning : Aim: This thesis assesses and compares private and public tuberculosis (TB) care in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam, with an aim to identify suitable roles for private and public health care providers in tuberculosis control. Research framework: A set of standardised strategies for TB control advocated by the World Health Organisation and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases is used as a framework to analyse private and public providers' ability to deliver care of adequate quality.
