  1. 1. Accountable interaction. Exploring interactional features of technology in use

    Författare :Hans Tap; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Today we have computers in all kind of work places, and it is a fairly common artefact in many homes. What becomes an interesting topic when computers end up in everyday occasions and used by people who are not necessarily computer experts is how the user interface should be designed to be rendered practically useful. 2. 2. Do you mean here? Points of departure for design

    Författare :Hans Tap; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; work practice; design of IT; dialysis;

    Sammanfattning : It has been recognised that there is a need to get a better understanding of the user of technology in work as information technology progressively saturates users' everyday working environments. One motivating force has been a perceived need to link the design of new technology with the work actually being done. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Closed-die forging and slab hot rolling with focus on material yield : some industrial problems analysed by FEM

    Författare :Esa Ervasti; Ulf Ståhlberg; Hans Keife; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Material yield; Closed-die forging; Hot rolling; Cracks; Macro-inclusions; Steel; FEM; Industrial engineering and economy; Industriell teknik och ekonomi;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis is focussed on improving the material yield in closed-die forging and rolling. The former is restricted to the manufacturing of heavy crown wheels and front axle beams and the latter to the hot rolling of steel slabs. To enhance the yield the commercial FE-codes Form2D and Dyna3D are used. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Stimulated autogenous self-healing of mechanically and thermally cracked cementitious materials

    Författare :Magdalena Rajczakowska; Andrzej Cwirzen; Karin Habermehl-Cwirzen; Hans Hedlund; Erik Schlangen; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Byggmaterial; Building Materials;

    Sammanfattning : It is estimated that each year, approximately 8 billion cubic meters of concrete are produced worldwide, a vast number comparable to 1 m3 per person, making the construction industry a major contributor to overall global CO2 emissions. Throughout the manufacturing process of the most common cement binder, ordinary Portland cement (OPC), CO2 emissions reach 842 kg per ton of clinker produced. LÄS MER
