Sammanfattning : The thesis examines developments in Swedish theological scholarship during the 20th century, focusing especially on the polarization that manifested itself between the two subject fields theology and religious studies. Sammanfattning : In this thesis Word of Life (Slovo zivota) in the Czech Republic is studied from a sociological perspective with a special focus on the Swedish influence, especially the teachings of Ulf Ekman, on the Czech Word of Life-congregations. Sammanfattning : This present thesis explores the hermeneutical theology of the North American catholic theologian David Tracy and the challenges plurality poses to modern theology. According to Tracy this challenge is to find a way to be open to plurality and the enrichments it brings, but that openness should not degenerate into a repressive tolerance, where anything can be said because nothing is taken seriously.
