3. Origin and composition of the Hällefors composite dyke, central Sweden
Sammanfattning : The Hällefors dyke is a large, wedge-shaped high-level intrusion that trends E-W and has a subvertical dip, the overall dimensions being about 42 km in length and 1 km in width. It was emplaced ca 1550 Ma ago in gneisses of the Svecokarelian (1950-1750 Ma) orogenic belt in south central Sweden. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Two chromosomal hybrid zones of the common shrew, Sorex araneus, have been investigated: the Hällefors-Uppsala hybrid zone in central Sweden and the Abisko-Sidensjö hybrid zone in northern Sweden. The Hällefors (Hä) and Uppsala (Up) chromosome races consisted of biarmed autosomes only (2nA=18), and differed in the Robertsonian fusions of two arms, ko, pq, and kp, oq, respectively. LÄS MER
5. There and back again? : Dutch lifestyle migrants moving to rural Sweden in the early 21st century
Sammanfattning : This thesis has a twofold aim. First, it studies motivations and decision processes of Dutch families moving to rural Sweden, with a focus on Hällefors municipality in the Bergslagen area.
