    Sammanfattning : Many factors are important during sampling of contaminated soil. One of these is the sample sizes used. By estimation of the Heterogeneity Invariant (HI) it is possible to balance the sample size to one uncertainty contribution that is attached to sampling and sample handling.     Sammanfattning : The present thesis describes development of a microdispenser-based technique to create of protein patterns for neurite guidance. The same technique was also developed to allow direct positioning of dissociated cells, including neurons, on cell culture substrates.     Sammanfattning : Experiences of teachers in SFI, Swedish for (adult) Immigrants, indicate that during their schooling earlier in life, SFI students have developed skills, abilities, values, ideas and expectations about teaching and learning that differ somewhat from the prevailing communicative oriented theory of second language teaching which is emphasized in SFI.
