    Sammanfattning : I denna avhandling presenteras arbete utfört med enzymet humant karboanhydras II (HCAII). Enzymer är en typ av proteiner som accelererar (katalyserar) kemiska reaktioner, vilket är nödvändigt för allt levande. Den naturliga funktionen för HCAII är att katalysera omvandlingen av gasen koldioxid till vätekarbonat, som är löslig i vätska. LÄS MER
