  1. 1. UV-photoelectron spectroscopy of free atoms and molecules at near 1 meV resolution

    Författare :Gunnar Öhrwall; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; Fysik; Physics; Fysik; fysik; Physics;

    Sammanfattning : Results of ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy experiments on free atoms and moleculesare presented. The energy resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of the photoelectron spec-tra are such that several new observations have been possible. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Free Neutral Clusters and Liquids Studied by Electron Spectroscopy and Lineshape Modeling

    Författare :Henrik Bergersen; Olle Björneholm; Svante Svensson; Gunnar Öhrwall; Maxim Tchaplyguine; Hans Ågren; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Physics; Clusters; Nano-particles; XPS; UPS; AES; Radial structure; Molecular dynamics; Density functional theory; Liquids; Liquid microjet; Solvation; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : The electronic and geometrical structure of free neutral clusters and liquids have been studied using synchrotron-radiation based photoelectron and Auger electron spectroscopy in combination with lineshape modeling. A novel experimental setup has been developed for studies of liquids, based on the liquid microjet technique. LÄS MER
