  1. 11. Low energy buildings equipped with heat pumps for high self-consumption of photovoltaic electricity

    Författare :Richard Thygesen; Björn Karlsson; Robert Öman; Joakim Widén; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy- and Environmental Engineering; energi- och miljöteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The building sector is a prioritized area in the European Unions (EU) ambition to reduce the total final energy use by 20 %; lower the emission of greenhouse gases by 20 % and using energy 20 % more efficient by 2020. The residential sector in the European Union accounts for 27% of the un-ion’s final energy use and the EU views decentralized energy generation and heat pumps as important measures in reducing the energy demand in the building sector. 2. 12. Borehole Thermal Energy Storage Systems for Storage of Industrial Excess Heat : Performance Evaluation and Modelling

    Författare :Emil Nilsson; Patrik Rohdin; Maria Andersson; Mathias Cehlin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Improving industrial energy efficiency is considered an important factor in reducing carbon dioxide emissions and counteract climate change. For many industrial companies in cold climates, heat generated at the site in summer will not be needed to fulfil the site heat demand during this time, and is thus removed to the outdoor air. 3. 13. State-of-the-art Integrated Refrigeration Systems in Supermarkets : An Energy Efficiency Evaluation Based on Field Measurements Analysis and Computer Simulations

    Författare :Mazyar Karampour; Samer Sawalha; Björn Palm; Silvia Minetto; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Carbon dioxide CO2 ; Supermarket; Supermarket refrigeration; Trans-critical cycle; Field meas-urements; Computer simulation; System integration; State-of-the-art; Heat recovery; Air condi-tioning; Reference HFC system; Geothermal energy storage; Energiteknik; Energy Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Supermarkets have become a vital feature of modern society. However, they have significant impact on the environment due to the large amount of refrigerants needed in the refrigeration system, and due to the large energy use in the supermarket, they are the commercial buildings with highest energy intensity. 4. 14. Solar PV in prosumer energy systems : A techno-economic analysis on sizing, integration, and risk

    Författare :Nelson Sommerfeldt; Hatef Madani Larijani; Björn Palm; Michel Haller; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electrify everything; building energy systems; energy systems analysis; solar heat pump; investment analysis; Monte Carlo analysis; PVT; solar hybrid; Electrify everything; byggnadsenergisystem; energisystemanalys; solvärmepump; investeringsanalys; Monte Carlo analys; PVT; solhybrid; Energy Technology; Energiteknik; Planering och beslutsanalys; Planning and Decision Analysis;

    Sammanfattning : In the transition towards a sustainable energy system, building mounted solar photovoltaics (PV) have unique benefits; they require no additional land and the energy is generated directly at load centers. Within residential buildings, multi-family homes (MFH) are particularly interesting because of the economies of scale and their greater potential for emissions reductions. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Evolution of Future Heating Systems - Modeling of an Expanding City Using a Dynamic Systems Approach

    Författare :Karl Vilén; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Heating system; Thermal energy storage; Low-heat-demand housing; Dynamic energy systems modeling; Housing; District heating; Climate policy; TIMES;

    Sammanfattning : Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is central to meeting climate change mitigation targets. Since the energy sector is one of the largest greenhouse gas emitters, it is essential that all the actors within the energy sector reduce their respective emissions. LÄS MER
