    Sammanfattning : In this thesis Word of Life (Slovo zivota) in the Czech Republic is studied from a sociological perspective with a special focus on the Swedish influence, especially the teachings of Ulf Ekman, on the Czech Word of Life-congregations. Another purpose is to examine if there also is space for domestic interpretations of the theology of the faith-movement and if there is any integration with Czech religious tradition. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation highlights the continuity of murukak katavul valipatu, “the worship of god Murukan”, with its distinct characteristics, in the changing history of the island known as Ilam/Ilankai/Lanka/Ceylon/Sri Lanka. The institution of the worship of god Murukan in Tamil civilization is crucial to a historical understanding of the problems of the Tamil people in Malaiyakam where they have now lived since about 1800 (two centuries).     Sammanfattning : This study focusses on the question of the moral status of actions, a question subdivided into two further questions: 'What is held to characterize morally right action?' and 'What is a morally good life?' Texts by Johan Olof Wallin (1779-1839)-pastor, Archbishop in the Church of Sweden, hymn writer and poet-are analyzed in detail.
