  1. 21. Reactions at the water-mineral interface of olivine and silicate modified maghemite

    Författare :Rickard Jolsterå; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Sammanfattning : The main objectives for this licentiate thesis have been to study and model the reactions at the water-mineral interface of two subsystems: maghemite-H+-silicate and olivine-H+. An increased knowledge of these systems will make it possible to further extend the complexity of the aqueous phase in future experiments. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Surface reactions of magnetite and maghemite with dissolved and added ions in process water

    Författare :Rickard Jolsterå; Jean-Francois Boily; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Reactions between mineral surfaces and dissolved species in process water, both inorganic and organic play an important role in mineral processing. Reverse flotation of finely comminuted iron ore is sometimes employed in order to remove the phosphorous mineral apatite. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Amino acid adsorption on aqueous hydroxyapatite : a spectroscopic study

  4. 24. Changes of Ca and Mg silicate minerals induced by grinding and interaction with water

    Författare :Elena Kalinkina; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Sammanfattning : FT-IR spectroscopy, powder XRD, 29Si MAS-NMR, 13C CP/1H-decoupling MAS-NMR, BET surface area and CO2-content measurements have been used to study the processes which occur during dry grinding of Ca and Mg silicate minerals: diopside, enstatite, åkermanite, and wollastonite. In the course of grinding alongside to hydration and amorphisation considerable sorption of atmospheric CO2 by ground minerals occur. LÄS MER
