This investigation focuses mainly on his network and career strategies and is based on various sources from a number of European archives and libraries, mainly those situated in Italy, Poland and Germany.    Sammanfattning : In the present work, new synthetic approaches to the synthesis of nucleoside phosphorofluoridate and phosphorofluoridothioate diesters have been developed. These procedures involve either oxidative transformation of the corresponding H-phosphonate or H-phosphonothioate diesters in the presence of fluoride anion or iodine-promoted desulfurization of phosphorothioate or phosphorodithioate diesters in the presence of fluoride anion. The Ponto-Caspian round goby (Neogobius melanostomus), which has established populations in various regions in Eurasia and North-America, was first observed in Gulf of Gdańsk, Baltic Sea, in 1990.    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I examine knowledge production and science-policy interaction associated with the management of chemical substances in the Baltic Sea under conditions of uncertainty and complexity. The thesis is primarily based on a qualitative analysis of policy documents and reports produced by the European Union (EU), the Helsinki Commission, the Swedish Chemicals Agency, and Gothenburg municipality, as well as 30 semi-structured interviews with scientific experts, policy makers, and government officials with knowledge and working experience in the relevant policy arenas.
