  1. 1. Overlapping Neural Substrates of Alcohol- and Anxiety-Related Behavior in the Rat

    Författare :Riccardo Barchiesi; Estelle Barbier; Markus Heilig; Annika Thorsell; Andrew Holmes; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Alcohol use disorder; Anxiety disorder; Behavior; Rat; Prelimbic cortex; Amygdala; Basolateral amygdala; Stress; Epigenetics; Syt1; Prdm2; Avp; Conditioned fear; Social defeat stress; Witness stress; Susceptibility; Resilience;

    Sammanfattning : Alcohol use is a leading cause of death and disease worldwide. A large part of this disease burden is associated with alcohol use disorder (AUD), a diagnostic category characterized by excessive use in spite of negative consequences ("compulsive use"), a loss of control over intake, and choice of alcohol over natural rewards. 2. 2. Movement behavior and mental health in office workers : Associations and intervention effects

    Författare :Lisa-Marie Larisch; Victoria Blom; Lena Kallings; Maria Hagströmer; Ingibjörg Jónsdóttir; Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; workplace health promotion; mental health; office workers; 24 h movement behavior; physical activity; sedentary behavior; multi-level intervention; ecological model of health behavior; behavior change; Medicin Teknik; Medicine Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Mental disorders pose a significant global health challenge. To effectively address this challenge, mental health promotion must be included in various sectors, including workplaces. Various strategies for promoting mental health in the workplace have been suggested, including interventions aimed at improving movement behavior, i.e. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Physical activity and breast cancer. Risk, survival and perceived energy

    Författare :Anna Johnsson; LUCC: Lunds universitets cancercentrum; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Physical activity; occupational sedentariness; Breast cancer; exercise;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Physical activity and avoidance of sedentariness do enhance health in women with breast cancer, and could even reduce the risk of developing the disease. One aim of this thesis was to elucidate the association between sedentariness and breast cancer risk in women as a whole, and then separately for those younger than 55 years old and those 55 years or older. 4. 4. Stress urinary incontinence among women. Aspects of risk factors, evaluation and surgical treatment

    Författare :Jan Persson; Lund Obstetrik och gynekologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; andrology; gynaecology; Obstetrics; minimally invasive surgery.; evaluation; risk factors; Female stress urinary incontinence; reproduction; sexuality; Obstetrik; gynekologi; andrologi; reproduktion; sexualitet;

    Sammanfattning : The etiology of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is unclear. By linking three nationwide medical registries we evaluated maternal and obstetric factors associated with later SUI surgery. Surgery for SUI was strongly associated with vaginal delivery, but not with pregnancy as such. LÄS MER
