    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; inverse problems; signal processing; machine learning; biomedical imaging; optimization; proximal optimization; regularization; mathematical modeling; identifiability; likelihood; logconcavity; immunoassays; convolutional coding; functional analysis; abstract inference; learned iterations; unrolled algorithms; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Inverse problems arise in any scientific endeavor. Indeed, it is seldom the case that our senses or basic instruments, i.e., the data, provide the answer we seek. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Functional Imaging of Spinal Locomotor Networks

    Författare :Chetan Nagaraja; Klas Kullander; Gilad Silberberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Central pattern generators; two-photon microscopy; locomotor rhythm; multiple rhythmicities; inhibitory neurotransmission; Neuroscience; Neurovetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Movement is necessary for the survival of most animals. The spinal cord contains neuronal networks that are capable of motor coordination and of producing different movements. In particular, a very reduced neuronal network in the spinal cord can produce simple rhythmic outputs even in the absence of descending or sensory inputs. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Functional brain imaging of cognitive status in Parkinson's disease

    Författare :Urban Ekman; Johan Eriksson; Lars Nyberg; Lars Forsgren; Oury Monchi; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Parkinson’s disease; functional MRI; Mild cognitive impairment; Working memory; Parkinson’s disease dementia; BOLD;

    Sammanfattning : Parkinson’s disease (PD) is next to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) the second most common neurodegenerative disease. PD has traditionally been characterised as a motor disorder, but more recent research has revealed that cognitive impairments are frequent. LÄS MER

  4. 14. The Functional Microstructure of Al/AlOx/Al Tunnel Junctions

    Författare :Samira Mousavi Nik; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Grain Growth.; Interfaces; Microstructure; AlOx Tunnel Barriers; Transmission Electron Microscopy; Imaging; Spectroscopy; Superconducting Tunnel Junctions;

    Sammanfattning : Josephson junction as a novel superconducting electronic component plays an important role in most small-scale superconducting systems. Particularly the Al/AlOx/Al tunnel junction, a high-performance junction made with a well-established microfabrication technology, is widely used as a building block of many quantum circuits.     Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; brain architecture; functional connectivity; dopamine; aging; cognition; memory; functional magnetic resonance imaging; positron emission tomography; graph theory; Laplacian eigenmapping; gradient;

    Sammanfattning : Aging is associated with reorganization of functional brain architecture, potentially leading tocognitive decline in older age. However, the mechanisms responsible for alterations in functionalbrain architecture remain poorly understood. LÄS MER
