  1. 1. Animal movement on short and long time scales and the effect on genetic diversity in cold-adapted species

    Författare :Vendela Kempe Lagerholm; Love Dalén; Anders Angerbjörn; Bensch Staffan; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Systematic Zoology; zoologisk systematik och evolutionsforskning;

    Sammanfattning : The genetic diversity in modern species is strongly affected by contemporary gene flow between populations, which in turn is governed by individual dispersal capacities and barriers in the landscape. However, current patterns of variation have also been shaped by movement over longer time-scales, such as the successive shifts in species distributions that have occurred during past climate changes. 2. 2. Äkta kärlek. Heterosexuell samvaro speglat mot diskurser om kärlek, heterosexualitet och kropp

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this dissertation is to acquire more knowledge about how young women 15 years of age create meaning about sexual interaction with boys and pornography. This dissertation includes four contributions: The licentiate thesis "Somewhere in between - Young women's accounts of heterosexual practise and pornography" (Berg 1999). Article 1. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : What did people think about the relationship between a man and a woman in Early Modern Sweden? Did they consider love and the parties' free choice to be of any importantance in the making of a marriage? What happened when marriages were falling apart, how common were divorces? I also discuss why sexuality was restricted, and how it affected women and men. What effects did changes in the legislation have? In discussing these questions my theoretical perspective is influenced by New Cultural History. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Sounding Expanded Affinities : A Polytemporal Approach to Reconceptualizing Egalitarian Social Relations

    Författare :Andrea Ray; Konsthögskolan i Malmö; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Sound art; Installation; Feminism; Polyamory; Free love; Expanded affinities; Queer theory; USA; Nineteenth century; Twenty-first century;

    Sammanfattning : My doctoral submission, Sounding Expanded Affinities, examines how strides toward gender equality might be made, but it postulates that this is too difficult while marriage remains at the core of our patriarchal value system. This patriarchal system is one which oppresses women by manipulating subjects into its preferred roles often in subtle, chronic ways, using repetition and pairing as its tools. LÄS MER

  5. 5. On linear graph invariants related to Ramsey and edge numbers : or how I learned to stop worrying and love the alien invasion

    Författare :Oliver Krüger; Jörgen Backelin; Alexander Engström; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Ramsey number; edge number; minimal Ramsey graph; independence number; clique number; Turán s theorem; crochet pattern; H13-pattern; linear graph invariant; triangle-free graph; Mathematics; matematik;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we study the Ramsey numbers, R(l,k), the edge numbers, e(l,k;n) and graphs that are related to these. The edge number e(l,k;n) may be defined as the least natural number m for which all graphs on n vertices and less than m edges either contains a complete subgraph of size l or an independent set of size k.
