4. People with multiple sclerosis in Stockholm : aspects of motor and cognitive function, activities of daily living and social/lifestyle activities
Sammanfattning : No population-based, detailed data has been published regarding persons with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) in terms of cognitive function, manual dexterity, general motor capacity, walking capacity, activities of daily living (ADL) and social/lifestyle activities. In addition, there is a lack of knowledge about associations between cognitive function, manual dexterity, walking ability, socio-demographic factors and coping capacity; and independence in ADL and normal frequency of social/lifestyle activities in a population-based sample of PwMS. 5. Fri rörlighet för familjer - en normativ analys av föräldrapenningen och EU-rätten
Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis examines the Swedish parental benefit in relation to the EU principles on free movement, namely the Treaty provisions on free movement for workers and Union citizens, and more specifically, the legislation on coordination of social security benefits – Regulation 1408/71 and its successor Regulation 883/2004. The rights enshrined in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and further developed in secondary legislation, mean that there shall be no obstacles for persons making use of their right to free movement.
