  1. 1. Transformations towards Sustainable Food Systems : Pathways, Governance, and Actors in a Swedish and European Union Context

    Författare :Karin Eliasson; Tina-Simone Neset; Victoria Wibeck; Suvi Huttunen; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; The European Green Deal; Food policy; Focus groups; Food systems; Biodiversity; Accountability; Agency; Phosphorus; Soybean; Footprinting; Den europeiska gröna given; Livsmedelspolitik; Fokusgrupper; Livsmedelssystem; Biodiversitet; Ansvarsskyldighet; Handlingsutrymme; Fosfor; Sojabönor; Fotavtryck;

    Sammanfattning : Food systems are central to global sustainability, while being complex systems where places and people are intertwined over large distances and at different scales. Transformations towards sustainable food systems have been called for in both research and policy, and Sweden and the European Union have declared high ambitions to act as global leaders in these transformations. 2. 2. Nanophotonic devices in thin film lithium niobate

    Författare :Alessandro Prencipe; Katia Gallo; Val Zwiller; Mohammed Amin Baghban; Rachel Grange; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Integrated optics; Electro-optics; Thin film lithium niobate; Phase shifted Bragg grating; Waveguide-integrated single photon detectors; Erbium implantation; Integrerad optik; elektrooptik; tunnfilmslitiumniobat; fasfo ̈rskjutet Bragg-gitter; V ̊agledare-integrerade singelfotondetektorer; Erbiumimplantation.; Optics and Photonics; Optik och fotonik;

    Sammanfattning : Photonic devices play a fundamental role in today’s society and are a central building blocks for numerous applications, ranging from modern internet to sensing and manufacturing, and photonics is foreseen to be the backbone of future quantum internet and quantum communication systems thanks to the long coherence time of light. At variance with electronic integrated circuits, where silicon has been the material of election for many decades, in the case of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) there are numerous options available for the material substrate. 3. 3. Adaptive and Flexible Scheduling Frameworks for Component-Based Real-Time Systems

    Författare :Nima Khalilzad; Thomas Nolte; Anton Cervin; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Modern computer systems are often designed to play a multipurpose role. Therefore, they are capable of running a number of software components (software programs) simultaneously in parallel. These software components should share the system resources (e.g. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Detecting Inclusions in a Silicone Rubber Phantom Using Standing Lamb Waves and Multiple Frequency Footprints

    Författare :Ulf G Jonsson; Britt Andersson; Olof A Lindahl; Jacques Ohayon; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Piezoelectric; Silicone rubber; Impedance; Resonance; Lamb waves; Phantom; Electronics; elektronik;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis deals with one major question: is it possible, using one piezoelectric sensor/vibrator, to detect a hard inclusion in a silicone rubber phantom? The question was approached with an open mind and the task was subdivided into three clearly identifiable parts: characterization of the piezoelectric sensor/vibrator (paper I), creating a model of the visco-elastic properties of a tissue-like material (phantom) in contact with the sensor/vibrator (paper II), and to detect the presence of a hard inclusion in the phantom (paper III). All vibrations of the sensor/vibrator and phantom was modeled using a finite element method (FEM). LÄS MER

  5. 5. The Integration of 3D Geodata and BIM Data in 3D City Models and 3D Cadastre

    Författare :Jing Sun; Kent Eriksson; Anders Östman; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 3D geodata; BIM; city models; 3D cadastre; geometric quality; CityGML; LADM; laser scanning; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik; Geodesi; Geodesy;

    Sammanfattning : The initial geographic information system (GIS) and building information modelling (BIM) are designed and developed independently in order to serve different purposes and use. Within the prolific increase and growing maturity of three-dimensional (3D) technology, both 3D geodata and BIM data can specify semantic data and model 3D buildings that are prominent for the 3D city models and 3D cadastre.
