    Sammanfattning : Lymphomas are a heterogeneous group of neoplasias originating from B- or T-lymphocytes. In this thesis, we determined the genetic and immunophenotypic characterization of DLBCL and their prognostic impact. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a malignancy derived from lymphoid tissues. In Sweden, non-Hodgkin lymphoma constituted 3% of all cancers recorded in 2003. Follicular and mantle cell lymphoma are the two types of non-Hodgkin lymphomas studied in this thesis. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Prognostic information from nonmalignant and malignant lymphocytes in follicular lymphoma in relation to therapy

    Författare :Björn Engelbrekt Wahlin; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Follicular lymphoma is the most common indolent lymphoma. It is composed of centrocytes and centroblasts, residing in follicles that also harbour nonmalignant immune and stroma cells. Follicular lymphoma is graded according to the World Health Organization criteria that are based on the frequency of centroblasts. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Follicular lymphoma : clinical and biological factors associated with response to therapy and overall prognosis

    Författare :Sandra Johanna Young Lockmer; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Follicular lymphoma (FL) is a heterogeneous group of malignancies within the adaptive immune system. The clinical course is highly variable. Treatment includes different chemotherapy regimens as well as the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab which has significantly improved the prognosis for patients with all types of B cell lymphomas.
