    Sammanfattning : This study investigates how films commissioned by Swedish mining companies were employed for institutional use between 1945 and 1965. A central aspect of what gave these films their versatility stems from circumstances that allowed commissioned texts to pass as non-partisan audiovisual aids, as educational and informative instruments and as occasional examples of film art through intermediaries.     Sammanfattning : Åsa Jernudd: Movies and Entertainment in Örebro 1897-1908This dissertation is a historical study of film exhibition in the context of emerging popular entertainment in Örebro, a medium-sized town in Sweden, 1897 to 1908. It argues that since 80% of the population resided in towns and rural areas around 1900, studying the impact of film culture in a town setting is essential for an understanding of early film culture in Sweden.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to map and analyze the production of municipal city films in Gothenburg between 1938 and 2015 in relation to economic and political changes of the city. Covering a total of fourteen larger film projects as well as several shorter films, the focus of the study lies both on the commission, distribution, and screening of the studied films and on the manner in which the city of Gothenburg and its inhabitants are represented.
