    Sammanfattning : Between 2016 and 2019, the Swedish state – via the Swedish Institute and Swedish embassies – circulated the ‘Swedish Dads’ photo exhibition to 54 countries. The exhibition was based on a photobook by the same name and featured photographs of Swedish fathers on parental leave with their children. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation has investigated the social vulnerability of unmarried mothers in three rural court districts in the province of Ångermanland in northern Sweden during the period 1860–1940. The main focus is on the consequences that the birth of one or more illegitimate children had on the women’s lives as regards to how they were treated in the local community, including by both neighbours and formal institutions.     Sammanfattning : The theme of this dissertation is the way in which the process of becoming a father is experienced, constituted, and constructed in Sweden in the 1990's. From the perspective of cultural analysis, I seek to discuss what men who become fathers today see as important in the constitution of themselves as parents and what is important in the eyes of other people; what occasions and actiona are significant, what procedures one can or should gp through, and how they are perceived; and how these men differ from fathers in previous generations and how they view this.
