  1. 1. Structural-acoustic vibrations in wooden assemblies : Experimental modal analysis and finite element modelling

    Författare :Åsa Bolmsvik; Torbjörn Ekevik; Andreas Linderholt; Anders Brandt; Anders Ågren; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; wooden framed structure; light weight buildings; multi-storey; flanking transmission; junction; vibration distribution; impact noise; damping; elastomers; finite element analysis; experimental modal analysis; FRF; trästomme; träkonstruktion; träbyggnad; flervåningshus; EMA; FEM; flanktransmission; koppling; knutpunkt; vibrationsspridning; stomljud; stegljud; dämpning; elastomerer; finit elementmetod; experimentell modalanalys; accelerationsmätning; frekvensresponsfunktion; modalanalys;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis concerns flanking transmission in light weight, wooden multi-storey buildings within the low frequency, primarily 20-120 Hz. The overall aim is to investigate how the finite element method can contribute in the design phase to evaluate different junctions regarding flanking transmission. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Multivariable Frequency-Domain Identification of Industrial Robots

    Författare :Erik Wernholt; Svante Gunnarsson; Jan Swevers; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Frequency-domain identification; industrial robots; nonparametric identification; nonlinear gray-box identification; multivariable systems; closed-loop identification; Automatic control; Reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Industrirobotar är idag en väsentlig del i tillverkningsindustrin där de bland annat används för att minska kostnader, öka produktivitet och kvalitet och ersätta människor i farliga eller slitsamma uppgifter. Höga krav på noggrannhet och snabbhet hos robotens rörelser innebär också höga krav på de matematiska modeller som ligger till grund för robotens styrsystem. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Human-structure interaction effect on the dynamic response of footbridges : An analytical and experimental study

    Författare :Daniel Colmenares; Raid Karoumi; Andreas Andersson; Federica Tubino; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; footbridges; dynamics; human induced loads; human structure interaction.; Bro- och stålbyggnad; Structural Engineering and Bridges;

    Sammanfattning : Lightweight, slender and lightly damped footbridges are often susceptible to HumanInduced Loads (HILs) when pedestrian step frequencies coincide with the naturalfrequencies of the structure. For vertical vibrations, this can compromise the serviceabilitylimit state of the system. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Low Frequency Impact Sound in Timber Buildings : Transmission Measurements and Simulations

    Författare :Jörgen Olsson; Andreas Linderholt; Börje Nilsson; Carl Hopkins; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Timber floors; FE-simulations; Light weight floors; Frequency response functions; Building acoustics; Byggteknik; Civil engineering;

    Sammanfattning : An increased share of multi-story buildings that have timber structures entails potential in terms of increased sustainability as well as human-friendly manufacturing and habitation. Timber buildings taller than two stories were prohibited in Europe until the 1990s due to fire regulations. In 1994, this prohibition was removed in Sweden. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Multidirectional Mobilities - Advanced Measurement Techniques and Applications

    Författare :Lars H. Ivarsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; R-DOFs; substructuring; measurement techniques; rotational mobility; multidirectional mechanical mobility; hybrid coupling; coupling; moment mobility; impedance coupling; consistency;

    Sammanfattning : Today high noise-and-vibration comfort has become a quality sign of products in sectors such as the automotive industry, aircraft, components, households and manufacturing. Consequently, already in the design phase of products, tools are required to predict the final vibration and noise levels. LÄS MER
