6. Synthesis of Novel Fluorine-Free Salts for Battery Electrolytes
Sammanfattning : Nowadays lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are the dominant power sources of portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops and cameras. Although recently their applications have extended to areas of electromobility and hybridization of vehicle, cost and safety issues remain as big obstacles for a smoother implementation. LÄS MER
7. Toward Safer Energy Storage Solution by Development of Fluorine-Free Battery Electrolyte
Sammanfattning : Portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, cameras and electronic vehicles (EVs) which contain lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), are indispensable part of our modern society. The safety of conventional electrolytes of LIBs, composed of fluorinated lithium salts and organic solvents is the source of some concerns. LÄS MER
8. Fluorine-Free Ionic Liquid Based Electrolytes: Synthesis and Structural Characterization
Sammanfattning : Since their introduction by Sony in 1990, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have acquired a sizable market share. They have the best energy densities, a high open circuit voltage, a low self-discharge rate, no memory effect, and a slow loss of charge when not in use. LÄS MER
9. Portland Cement Clinker - Composition and Hydration
Sammanfattning : The crystal structures of the main Portland cement clinker phases are reviewed and two anion centered models of Ca3SiO5 and Ca2SiO4 are presented. The effects of minor elements on the clinkering process, and on the qualitative and quantitative phase compositions of Portland cement clinker are discussed. LÄS MER
10. Lanthanide-mediated C-F Bond Activation Method Development and Mechanistic Investigation
Sammanfattning : The use of transition-metals and main-group Lewis acids has proven to be an outstanding source for activation and subsequent functionalization of fluorinated compounds. However, the first is mainly limited to C(sp2)–F bonds which partially are activated by an adjacent heteroatom, and the latter is limited to simple C(sp3)–F bonds due to particularly strong Lewis acid character.
