    Sammanfattning : This study examines the poetry written by Gustaf Fröding (1860–1911) during his stay at Uppsala lunatic asylum between December 1898 and March 1905. His production from this period is remarkably innovative. There he wrote the eccentric poems that were later to become part of the collection "Mattoidens sånger" ("The Songs Of The Fool"). LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation focuses on two Swedish artists, Eva Bonnier (1857-1909) and Hanna Hirsch-Pauli (1864-1940) and their relationship to the educational system, artistic trends and exhibitions of the 1880's.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to analyze how Nordic women artists negotiated their professional identity in painting in the 1880s, focusing on the genres of the self-portrait, the friendship image and the studio interior. It investigates how artistic identity is fashioned through self-representation, collaboration with a colleague and in interaction with the interior of the studio as a constitutive space of artistic professionalism.
