  1. 1. Molecular Engineering of D-π-A Dyes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

    Författare :Erik Gabrielsson; Licheng Sun; Peter Bäuerle; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dye-sensitized solar cells; Molecular electronics; Molecular engineering; Organic synthesis; Photovoltaics; Kemi; Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) present an interesting method for the conversion of sunlight into electricity. Unlike in other photovoltaic technologies, the difficult tasks of light absorption and charge transport are handled by two different materials in DSSCs. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Monopolar and Bipolar Membranes in Organic Bioelectronic Devices

    Författare :Erik O. Gabrielsson; Magnus Berggren; Edwin Jager; Daniel Simon; Ari Ivaska; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; bioelectronics; ionic; ion transport; bipolar membrane; conjugated polymer; amyloid; self-assembly;

    Sammanfattning : In the 1970s it was discovered that organic polymers, a class of materials otherwise best know as insulating plastics, could be made electronically conductive. As an alternative to silicon semiconductors, organic polymers offer many novel features, characteristics, and opportunities, such as producing electronics at low costs using printing techniques, using organic chemistry to tune optical and electronic properties, and mechanical flexibility. 3. 3. A Dynamic View of Melodic Organization and Performance : Perception of Structure and Emotional Expression in Music

    Författare :Erik Lindström; Alf Gabrielsson; Andreas C. Lehmann; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Psychology; accents; emotion; expression; musical structure; tonal structure; Psykologi; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : Psychology of music has shown renewed interest in how music expresses emotion to listeners. However, there is an obvious lack of research on how interactions between musical factors such as harmony, rhythm, melodic contour, loudness, and articulation may affect perceived emotion. LÄS MER
