Many patients with epilepsy never receive the treatment which make them seizure free. Surgical therapy has become an important therapeutic alternative for patients with drug resistant epilepsy.    Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this prospective study was to investigate whether one-year treatment was equally efficient, regarding the remission rate, as three-year treatment of children with uncomplicated epilepsy.
