21. Advanced MEMS Pressure Sensors Operating in Fluids
Sammanfattning : Today’s MEMS technology allows manufacturing of miniaturized, low power sensors that sometimes exceeds the performance of conventional sensors. The pressure sensor market today is dominated by MEMS pressure sensors. In this thesis two different pressure sensor techniques are studied. LÄS MER
22. Thin Film Plate Acoustic Resonators for Frequency Control and Sensing Applications
Sammanfattning : The recent development of the commercially viable thin film electro-acoustic technology has triggered a growing interest in the research of plate guided wave or Lamb wave components owing to their unique characteristics. In the present thesis i) an experimental study of the thin film plate resonators (FPAR) performance operating on the lowest symmetrical Lamb wave (S0) propagating in highly textured AlN membranes versus a variety of design parameters has been performed. 23. Control of Wave Energy Converters in arrays
Sammanfattning : One way to lower the levelized cost of energy for wave power plants and paving so the way for commercial success, is to increase the power absorption by use of advanced control algorithms. This thesis investigates the influence of the generator inertia, the generator damping and the layout on power absorption and presents a new model free strategy of controlling wave energy converters.
