1. Towards Emergent Configurations in the Internet of Things
Sammanfattning : The Internet of Things (IoT) is a fast-spreading technology that enables new types of services in several domains, such as transportation, health, and building automation. To exploit the potential of the IoT effectively, several challenges have to be tackled including the following ones. LÄS MER
2. Realizing Emergent Configurations in the Internet of Things
Sammanfattning : The Internet of Things (IoT) is a fast-spreading technology that enables new types of services in several domains such as transportation, health, and building automation. To exploit the potential of the IoT effectively, several challenges have to be tackled, including the following ones that we study in this thesis. LÄS MER
3. Biosensor-based Methods for Detection of Microcystins as Early Warning Systems
Sammanfattning : Cyanobacteria blooms are a water menace since they produce potent toxins that have been implicated in poisonings and deaths of humans and animals after consumption or contact with cyanotoxin-contaminated water. Of particular concern are cyanotoxins called microcystins, which are hepatotoxic cyclic peptides known to promote development of liver tumors in humans and animals. LÄS MER
4. Spänning och motstånd : en studie av samtal i karaktärsämnet på ett elprogram
Sammanfattning : This study examines how teaching is interactionally accomplished within a vocational program for students studying to become electricians. The data is drawn from video recordings of classroom lectures as well as hands-on instructions at construction work sites. LÄS MER
5. Collective properties of magnetic mesospins
Sammanfattning : Mesoscopic spin systems consist of an ensemble of lithographically patterned nanomagnetic elements - mesospins. The interactions between the mesospins, can be designed at will by altering their lateral arrangement, enabling the study of collective magnetic order in a wide range of systems. LÄS MER
