  1. 11. Large Scale Solar Power Integration in Distribution Grids : PV Modelling, Voltage Support and Aggregation Studies

    Författare :Afshin Samadi; Lennart Söder; Olof Samuelsson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Photovoltaic systems; PV system modelling; reactive power control; droop control; voltage sensitivity analysis; German Grid Codes; relative gain array RGA ; singular value decomposition SVD ; load modeling; system identification; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Long term supporting schemes for photovoltaic (PV) system installation have led to accommodating large numbers of PV systems within load pockets in distribution grids. High penetrations of PV systems can cause new technical challenges, such as voltage rise due to reverse power flow during light load and high PV generation conditions. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Electrical Bioimpedance Cerebral Monitoring : From Hypothesis and Simulation to First Experimental Evidence in Stroke Patients

    Författare :Seyed Reza Atefi; Fernando Seoane; Michael Bodo; Kaj Lindecrantz; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electrical Biompedance Spectroscopy; Stroke; Hemorrhage; Ischemia; FEM; HFSS; Electrical Potentials; Människan i vården;

    Sammanfattning : Stroke is amongthe leading causes of death worldwide and requires immediate care to prevent death or permanent disability. Unfortunately, the current stateof stroke diagnosis is limited to fixed neuroimaging facilities that do not allow rapid stroke diagnosis. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Condition measuring and lifetime modelling of disconnectors, circuit breakers and other electrical power transmission equipment

    Författare :Per Westerlund; Patrik Hilber; Tommie Lindquist; William Q Meeker; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; reliability; maintenance; condition monitoring; disconnector; circuit breaker; Weibull distribution; prediction; risk analysis; decision making; beta distribution; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The supply of electricity is important in modern society, so the outages of the electric grid should be few and short, especially for the transmission grid. A summary of the history of the Swedish electrical system is presented. The objective is to be able to plan the maintenance better by following the condition of the equipment. LÄS MER

  4. 14. On Risk Management of Electrical Distribution Systems and the Impact of Regulations

    Författare :Carl Johan Wallnerström; Lina Bertling; Roland Eriksson; Kjell Sand; KTH; []

    Sammanfattning : The Swedish electricity market was de-regulated in 1996, followed by new laws and a new regulation applied to the natural monopolies of electrical distribution systems (EDS). These circumstances have motivated distribution systems operators (DSOs) to introduce more comprehensive analysis methods. LÄS MER
